Vincent van Gogh

Vincent van Gough has a distinctive, post-impressionist style. His paintings contain  dramatic  brush  strokes ,  adding feeling  and  movement  to  his  works. From 1886  to  1889,  van  Gogh  created  30  self-portraits; he did so both to develop his artistic skill and as a means of introspection.

This reproduction was a favourite, the vibrant colours and interesting brush strokes made for a create photoshoot.

Below you will be able to slide between the original and the recreation. To find out more about Vincent van Gogh visit the artist's official site here.
